Family Law Property Disputes:
Property matters can be a challenging aspect of arriving at a Family Law settlement. With Enza, you can be assured that you receive representation in court by specialists with proven expertise.A property settlement can take place at any time before you are divorced but must be applied for within one year of your divorce. The court takes many factors into account in assessing what is a proper settlement; these factors include home making and parenting as well as financial issues. Future needs and past contributions made by the parties involved are also taken into account. In certain situations, the court may order a spouse to maintain their former partner by way of maintenance payments.

Matters relating to Children:
If there is any dispute between partners about where the children of the relationship should live, or what the contact arrangements are to be, it is essential that you obtain legal advice. The Family Court places a lot of emphasis on counselling and settlement by agreement. If the case is heard by the court, all decisions will be taken with the best interest of the children as the paramount consideration.

Make an appointment to discuss your situation, and to obtain advice in relation to your particular circumstances.
